Philanthropy

Become a major donor and benefit all the current and future pupils of the Royal School Wolverhampton.

Making a donation, whether as an individual, a family trust or a corporate foundation can have a huge impact on the School and the lives of its students, enabling the Foundation and School to fund projects now and to plan ahead. So, no matter what challenges the future holds, we can ensure that The Royal can deliver!

In partnership with you, the Royal Wolverhampton School Foundation can work to create a tailored investment programme.  This could include personalised updates, opportunities to meet pupils at school events, meet the Principal, Governors and members of our Leadership Team, and an acknowledgement of your generosity if you so wish.

A major donation made by an individual, group, foundation or corporation may be in support of a specific area or project that has a particular relevance to the donor.  The refurbishment of the fountain in front of Senior School is a good example.  An Old Royal made a major donation in memory of his wife.  As he died before he could visit the school to see it, the commemorative plaque by the fountain will acknowledge him as well as his wife.

Major gifts are often bespoke arrangements between the donor and Foundation and can come in many forms. They are often pledged over several years to be most convenient to the donor.

If you would like to find out more about making a major donation, then we’d love to speak to you to find out more about your interest and how we can work with you.
